The Range of Products
The product range include almost all areas of usage like Components, Anti-corrosive Coatings, FRP Sheets, Laminates, Furniture, Tanks, Tubs, Reactors, Receivers, Pipes, Filters, Buoys, Shells, Shelters, Containers, Washing Machine and Cooler bodies, Gratings, Ladders, Pallets, Play Ground Equipment and so on. The customer may be Defence, Aeronautic, Naval or so. The critical parameter may be thickness, weight,strength, chemical / weather / electrical resistance or any thing. Before moulding any FRP product, Chemplas as a whole unit gets moulded to understand the customer specific requirements.
The Material
The Raw Materials used by Chem-Plas for manufacturing composites are Fibreglass in various compositions & densities, Polyesters, Epoxies, venylesters & Phenolics, Core and sandwich materials like PP, PVC, HDPE, PVDF, Steel, Copper, PU Foam and Honey Combs.
The Process
Chem-Plas employs the manufacturing methods right from Hand-lay-up moulding to the latest Filament Winding process. The manufacturing process could be Compression Moulding, Resin Transfer Moulding, Vacuum Bag Moulding or Pultrusion Process as the job calls for. The Process includes all the co-processes like Plastic welding, Metal Spraying, Sand Blasting, Coating, Painting etc.
